:-) Agree, Marianne. I walked past Shakespeare a few times on my trip there a couple of weeks ago but there was always a queue outside so I ditched my plan to visit it. I've been there many times already.
I highly recommend it. People come from all over the world to visit this bookshop. It's very quaint and unique. The books are a tad more expensive than other bookstores but then, books are more expensive in Europe in general.
True about the costs but French books are even more expensive than those of most other countries which I sometimes don't understand. And we had planned to go back to Paris for ages and then visit Shakespeare & Co. but with the pandemic, a lot of plans had to get cancelled.
That's so true. I only started travelling at the end of August. Who wants to travel with so many insensible restrictions? It's all gone back to normal now but who knows for how long? :-(
It was partly impossible to even cross the border. And since both our sons live abroad, they took priority once the borders were open again. Of course.
Great analogy.

DeleteOh, I'm jealous. I've never been there.
