I wouldn't call that boring. And if I look at his work, there is a lot about his life that makes him so brilliant.
I guess he says he's boring because all those things he mentioned may sound mundane to some people but for some of us who are satisfied with simple things, they're certainly productive and purposeful. I think I've only ever seen him in Batman. :)
He's pretty famous since Peaky Blinders but I know I knew him before, just don't remember where exactly. LOL
