"Get Us Out Of Here!!" by Nicky Eltz

About the book: What is life compared to that day which will have no ending for the elect, or to that night which will have no dawning for the damned? - Sister M G from Purgatory, ☦ February 1871

Maria Simma was a mystic born in Sonntag, Austria, to poor peasant farmers in 1915. Her parents were very devout Catholics. Maria began to be visited by the souls in purgatory in 1940. It is important to note that Maria never sought these visits from the holy souls or "channeled" them in any way. The holy souls told her that it is God, in His great mercy, who gave them permission to come to her. They came to her to obtain sacrifices and prayers to lessen their time in purgatory. The holy souls appeared to Maria for 64 years until her death in 2004.

The holy souls repeatedly told Maria that the greatest thing we can do to help them is to have Masses offered for them. Next to the Mass, the holy Rosary and the Stations of the Cross are also very beneficial to them.

According to them, the greatest "complaint" of the souls in Purgatory is how they are almost completely forgotten by their family and loved ones. They also receive no spiritual help from those they helped during their lives. How few prayers are ever offered up for them, even at their funerals. Yet prayer is precisely what they need the most! During her visits with the holy souls, they revealed much to Maria about their lives and the world around us as seen through God's eyes.

This book (2002, 2012) is a compilation of over 60 detailed interviews with Maria that took place over a two-year period with the author, Nicky Eltz. It will give you a glimpse into purgatory and Heaven, and reveal much about our faith and how it relates to the world around us. Most importantly, it will inspire your faith and increase your devotion to the holy souls in purgatory. This is truly a must-read book.
